How it works
Finalize your ADU unit. Our plans are nearly ready as soon as you approve the proposal.
Because of the standardization of the design and build, CityPaks has virtually eliminated lead times on items that normally take months to deliver, such as appliances and windows, which means you don't spend months waiting for deliveries with a half-finished construction site.
CityPaks will customize the plans for your specific property so that the City will approve them. A site plan with the specific location for the ADU and showing all existing utility services, and location of the primary residence as required.
If your property is not located in San Jose, we will provide the additional documents and drawings requested by your municipality.
We will conduct a site visit to evaluate and understand property, topography, tree locations and any other site constraints. The plans should be ready in a few days after our site visit.

- Pre-approved City of San Jose 1 bedroom/589 SF unit for even faster permit approval. Start construction in 20-30 days in City of San Jose.
- Finalize customization of window and door openings. That is right, you get to choose!
