Birth of CityPaks

It all started in the spring of 2020 on a family vacation. Even though I love my job, I have a desire to bring my professional experience directly to homeowners with backyard units. With all the decades of direct industry experience, the realization that the industry hasn’t changed much for the better is something I long to change at the most direct level – homeowners. Construction to this day is still done the same way as it was done over 20 years ago. CityPaks was created to do something about it in the ADU arena to support the future of residential housing, to break the norm and push the boundaries with a better product, and a product that constructs much, much FASTER.

Being a woman in a male dominated industry hasn’t always been an easy road, but it sure has been a rewarding road. I’ve learned from many mentors (male and female) throughout my career and want to pass those experiences forth. My personal desire has always been to provide opportunities to populations that have consistently faced significant barriers to employment. I’m looking forward to supporting the betterment of people in these populations. – Lori
